Overall, very pleased with this cover. Installed it in about 30 - 40 minutes - suggest watching the install video's (there are several out there). Haven't had it on long enough to rate the long term quality & durability, but my initial observation is that this is a nice cover that should wear well. Pros: Easy install. Quad fold - can still see 3rd brake light when fully open/propped. Quick release prop rods for full bed access without it laying against the back of the truck/window like some other bed covers.. Low profile. Latches easily and securely. Seems fairly water tight also - I don't use a car wash, but we get some heavy rain here in TN and I haven't had an issue with any leakage so far. Cons: Two piece rails - would be nice if they were one solid rail. Foam piece you stick on the front of the rail - kind of hokey. It does the job, but would be nicer to have something a little more "professional" and better fitting.

Installation was pretty simple after watching online videos. Written instructions leave a bit to be desired. Cover fits F150 supercrew perfectly and looks great. A few small adjustments after seals settle in a bit, especially at the tailgate.

Looks great, fairly easy install. Instructions weren't great. Found out after install that there were "updated install instructions for gmc/ Chevy. Does leak a little at one of the seams.

Let me start off by saying this is not my first folding cover that I’ve purchased and installed. It is the first Leer product I’ve ever purchased. My criteria for a cover required it to be strong enough to keep the Maine snow out of the bed and allow full access to my 5th wheel hitch in my 2024 GMC 3500 crew cab SLT with a standard bed. I’d say Leer engineering needs a few lessons in the basic engineering principles of form, fit and function! This cover requires significant design improvements to be considered a quality hard folding cover. According to the Leer website the HF650M should fit this truck, but nothing could be further from the truth. It is approximately 1 inch short. I’ll give kudos to the Leer packaging engineer for designing a sturdy and robust package. However, don’t expect much in the way of installation instructions. The directions and on-line installation video are pathetic. They are incomplete and don’t cover all the components included in the box. The provided rails have a nice rubber seal that makes contact with the bed rail, but as the picture shows, barely sits on the bed rail. There should be at least ½” to ¾” sitting on top of the bed rail for strength and adequate width of rubber to properly shed water. The rails come in 2 pieces rather than a single extrusion. This is a design failure simply done for the convenience of a single shipping box. The rail clamps are fine until you get to the clamp on the rear left side intended to be installed through the stake hole. It is impossible to install the rail clamp provided due to the standard factory installed grab handle (see picture). This leaves several feet of the rail on that side with limited support since an additional/alternate clamp is not provided. The inner and outer seal at the cab end do not prevent water from entering the bed because the inner seal does not contact the bed (see picture). If the cover was just one inch longer this issue would be resolved. The outer seal is not wide enough either to make full contact with the rear side of the bed. This leaves a significant gap for water to enter (see picture). The seal at the tailgate is acceptable. The panels themselves are simply too thin in my opinion allowing them to sag into the truck bed. The picture showing the puddle of water is evidence enough. I have no confidence the panels won’t cave in when the first snowfall in Maine arrives. When the cover is propped up against the rear window the brake light remains visible. However, it should be noted that the rear bed camera is blocked. If I hadn’t destroyed the box while opening, I’d would have returned this cover.

I’ve waited a couple of months to write this because I wanted to live with it and give a solid review. The product looks great and was pretty easy to install. Sadly, I’m not happy with its ability to keep water out of the bed. I’ve had rain and numerous car washes and each time it has leaked and each time I’ve made adjustments to try and fix it. It seems like it’s about two inches too short to give the protection it is supposed to give. I regret the purchase. I’ve had less expensive covers that were much better at keeping water out.

Cover is great, looks good, seems good quality, and seems as secure as can be expected. Knocked a star of for the poor instructions however which wasted so much time unnecessarily. When you know how to do the install it couldn't be easier but for a first timer parts weren't intuitive. Watch YouTube videos and know that at least for a Tacoma the small metal rectangles are spacers that go against your truck rail and not washers that go on the outside against the bolt heads as the way they're packaged implies. Instructions also made no mention of parts like the weather stripping. Clamps didn't look like in the instructions. The labels indicating left and right leer rails were also mixed up.
