Great quality, solid instructions. 2018 5.3 flex Sierra. Took 1.5 hours to install and I'm no mechanic. The only thing they could do to improve is to include a couple of the plastic grommets that break when you try to remove from your vehicle. $3.50 at the local auto parts store. It took me less than 30 minuets for the removal of the stock intake and installation of the new one. That might be because I’ve installed a couple of cold air intakes previously. The sound and the throttle response is amazing. I’m really liking the Plexiglass top. The only down side is that the screw hole provisions are in plexiglass are drilled out to large. The diameter of washers (I believe there are nylon) provided are to small too cover hole. There is an air leak around the holes. I am currently looking for a larger diameter washer. That should fix the issue. Overall I’m very happy with this intake.
The intake installed in about an hour with little complication. The only problem I had was that the gasket on top of the heat shield is slightly to big and the hood doesn't close all the way.
