Haven’t used it yet so disregard performance rating. Easy to assemble, strong item which will definitely hold bike firmly. Very happy with the purchase.

Customer service was superb. When I received the rack, it was evident that a few pieces were missing. I requested that the missing pieces be shipped to me but instead, they sent out a new rack and let me keep the other one also. I can probably spend a few dollars at a hardware store and make the other rack usable.

The package arrived in good condition and all of the parts were in the box. Assembly was straightforward. One illustration incorrectly shows the molded plastic "hands" that clamp the bike down tube on the outside of the pivoting arms of the rack. Those two plastic parts go on the inside of the arms and will hold your bike frame. Mounting to the car's cross bars was simple with u bolts and knob-nuts. The lock is easy to use. When locked, the clamp knob turns but doesn't engage the threads on the clamp bolt. The finish on the rails (where the tires sit) seems pretty thick and should be durable. Overall, this is well designed, functional, and a good value.
