excellent brake pads. You can truly feel the pads sticking to the rotors when you press the pedal down just enough for them to touch the rotors. They also don't make any brake dust, and don't need to be warmed up to work well. the price is very expensive but well worth it, there is no competition Hawk dominates the brake pad market. Only reason for the 4.5 stars on appearance is a tiny bit of paint chipped off right where the window is on my cobra calipers and is now shiny metal when its supposed to be black.

When I first bought this car new, the rotors were warped. Ford dealer wouldn't fix the problem, so I put up with it until I needed to "really" replace the brakes. Well, eventually, those rotors warped, too. So, I decided to get what I am hoping are the best rotors I could (Baer Decela). To go with my new rotors, I purchased these pads. It was my first time to ever replace rotors or pads on a car, and it really isn't hard. Lucky that I had the proper socket size - the bolt head for the calipers is rather large. The hardest part was figuring out a way to reset the calipers. I ended up using a bar clamp. I couldn't apply enough force for that to work, so I put a second bar clamp on top of the first bar clamp and squeezed both at the same time. Success. Once I got the rotors and pads installed, I followed the break-in (or brake-in?) procedure detailed by Hawk. The experience with this combo was (and still is) AWESOME. Silky smooth breaking that is efficient and fast. I suspect that this brake combo will outlast my car, which has 185,000 miles on it. But, at least I can be pretty sure that my car's life won't be cut short due to its inability to stop!

I installed these on a customers vehicle with some powerslot slotted brake rotors and boy what a difference they make on stopping i will definately install this setup on my vehicles in the future only thing i found is the paint coating on the ends of the pads where a little thin but a little sand paper takes care of that otherwise great product
