Ceramic pads are now common on original equipment cars and trucks. Ceramic brakes offer a good all-around performance with quiet, vibration free operation. Evolution "clean ride" ceramic brake pads have low resin content and they are Kevlar enhanced to prevent high temperatures glazing (resin bleed resulting in brake fade). They come slotted, chamfered and shimmed just like the OE pads. Ceramic pads are not recommended for severe duty truck and towing applications.
