I ordered kit #4144SK. It uses mandrel-bent aluminized pipe and two stock mufflers for a very good price. I can't comment on the head pipe fit, since I modified mine to work with 96-00 5.7L Vortec exhaust manifolds, but the other pipes fit pretty well and allow for horizontal and vertical positioning of the mufflers. I have two issues with the kit: First is the generic hangers that don't work at all with my 1982 C10 pickup. I ended up using longer, flexible hangers from an auto parts store. Second, the "stock" mufflers are as loud as turbo mufflers, and with the tail pipes exiting at the sides, it's not a nice sound echoing off curbs and parked cars. It literally sounds like a tractor from the sides. I will probably modify the pipes to run straight back and install turn downs just before the bumper. Either that or order a pair of straight tail pipes.
