These mats provide a refined appearance for cars over the other brands which one would expect to see in a truck. If you are like me, entering a car tends to be hard on the carpet. These mats allow enough slip of the foot on the mat itself to alleviate strain on the underlying carpet. The mat does not shift on the carpet but the foot shifts on the mat.
