The mats had to be placed indoors to climatize to the temperature. They did not fit all the wayside to side. This small gap allows dirt sand and debris to fall there. The sand etc is like an abrasive to the carpet. Deciding can be a fantastic product if the fit was exact. The color was a true black that matched the carpet and interior.
