The product from the advertisements on TV says they are custom-fitted and will stop spills. I don't see how that's possible because there is nothing going up to the sides of the carpet. They don't look any different than a car mat I could get from a car retail store. I don't see anything special about them other than that they are a heavy-duty mat.
