The Rugged Ridge Gas Hatch Cover is made of stamped stainless steel that is specially treated to resist gasoline and other harsh chemicals. This results in a bright finish that lasts through the hazards of the road and the gas station.
Installation is simple. Unlike other designs on the market, you don't need to remove the tail light or internal gas cover compnents to install this cover. For 2007-08 Wranglers the cover attaches directly to the OEM plastic with self-tapping screws - no need to remove the existing plastic insert!
