The Jet Performance Chip's simple, plug-in installation allows you to provide full range Dynamic Spectrum Tuning (DST) of your air/fuel ratios, ignition advances, and transmission parameters.     All Jet Performance Chips are 50-state smog legal and are available in Stage 1 (for original stock engines) and Stage 2 (for modified motors with performance air intakes, headers, or performance exhaust systems).

    STAGE 1: For stock vehicles, fuel and timing curves are modified for optimal performance and mileage using lower octane fuels. Stage 1 Jet Performance Chips are programmed to burn fuel at peak efficiency, resulting in improved mileage gains.

    STAGE 2: Designed for the performance enthusiast, Jet Performance Stage 2 chips feature more aggressive programing, making the most horsepower and torque available for your vehicle. Fuel and timing curves are extensively modified resulting in peak performance and drivability. Stage 2 units require the use of 91-octane fuel, 180 degree thermostats, and a performance exhaust system.     This performance chip for my 93 Chevy 1500 is great for low end takeoff power but if you lug it it loads up fuel and causes the truck to pop ad fall on its face on takeoff. I bought this basically to increase fuel mileage because that’s one of the main things it advertised in the Description but so far it has not improved! I’m not impressed at all! Save your money my truck ran better with the stock chip in it!

    Well worth the money. Installed the jet chip and a new air cleaner at the same time and I could tell a difference in the power my truck has. Very happy!

    The product worked great on my 90 RS Camaro 305. Gutted cat, 160(deg) thermostat. Custom Flowmaster, single in dual 2.5 inch out exhaust. Make sure you wear rubber gloves and disconnect the battery before starting. I can feel a difference on throttle response about 15 percent more “pep”. If you're wanting lots of horse power it's better you get the parts to do so before buying this (exhaust, cam, air) the car will do better with performance parts, period. The chip is just the best way to tie it all together.

    Excellent product, ez to install, put the spacer and headers on my 94 Silverado along with the jet chip, probably got an additional 40 horses and the chip got the fuel curve spot on for millage plus the tranny shifts at peak power, thanks Jet.
