I like the boards, but the installers did not. I took them to a 4x4 specialist with stores nationwide who said the fasteners, which resembled rivets were wholly inadequate to hold the weight of the boards plus whoever may stand on them. They instead drilled larger holes and used heavy duty bolts. They only charged me the $150 they quoted me to do it, but it took them several hours. Overall, they were shocked that they came with such weak hardware, but liked how they ultimately looked and fit. I would agree.

The running boards look good and are of good quality. Just be careful not to over tighten the bolts to the studs underneath the Xterra. They are easy to break off. I had to have one side welded on

My purchase thru AAG was a great experience. Unfortunately the running boards were shipped from Romik missing a key mounting bolt which I'm still waiting for, and 2 minor dents on the outside tubing (most likely from shipping).

Hardware kit was lame!! Some of the washers were to small for their application, one of the bolts broke while tightening, had to do some grinding on one of the running boards because it did not line up close enough with the existing mounting points on my Ridgeline. Now that there installed they look good and are very sturdy.

I purchased my 2013 Toyota Highlander Limited Edition for my birthday this year and was excited about getting the Romik Running Boards installed on it. However, I was totally disappointed to find out from the recommended Romik installer that these running boards were a poor design. I paid $127 to get them installed and was told I would have to bring my truck back and pay another $100 to have them put an additional bracket on it to give the front some stability. This is what was written on my invoice: "Boards may vibrate, front brackets need to be braced due to poor design". When I get in my truck, I have to be mindful not to step on the running boards because they are loose in the front due to the poor design. I would not recommend this running board to anyone with a 2013 Toyota Highlander.

I'd say the best thing was that I didn't have to take it anywhere and pay someone to put them on. Also, you really don't have to drill any holes at all. Everything was fine.

These are about the best looking running boards I have seen on a Honda Pilot. The install was fairly quick and painless. I did have an issue on my Honda Pilot where I needed to enlarge two holes using a 1/2 drill bit. The boards are very sturdy and appear like they will last a very long time.
