The BakFlip G2 Tonneau Cover is the newest generation of the folding, hard, multiple-panel tonneau cover. With the BakFlip G2 you'll enjoy the security of having a locking trunk for your truck, while still having access to your entire truck bed! The BakFlip is also easily removable. All you have to do is remove 2 wing nuts and since the cover weighs only 40 lbs, it's easy to move yourself! I feel that this product should have cost $700.00 because the under cover flex looks nicer and it’s only $100.00 more, I dislike the tongue lock on the last fold because it is plastic instead of metal for more security and I don’t like the strap locks that sit on top of the cover they look tacky but what I done with them is I took them off until I need them and they’re easy to install so that worked out ok; also I installed black bed rail caps first, they make the top look better, all in all, it is a nice looking cover though and it functions well, but make sure if you get it watch the installation on youtube first before installing it!

It’s a real nice looking cover with a nice sheen but one thing I’ll say is that the strap locks look tacky on top of the bed so I am going to remove them until I need them and another thing that I don’t like is that the tongue locks on the last trifold piece are plastic, they should be metal for security, and the directions are confusing so I went on you tube to watch the process, and I think that the price is too high. But with inflation what can you do , there are other hard tops online for a lot cheaper they rest on top of your truck rails which isn’t a bad option.
