The BakFlip G2 Tonneau Cover is the newest generation of the folding, hard, multiple-panel tonneau cover. Nicely designed. Easy to install. Provided instructions were illegible and had go on line to find actual instructions. Release wires are sometimes hard to locate/grasp. I added simple little tabs with electrical tape to make them easier to find and pull. Note to Honda Ridgeline owners: You do not have to remove the upper forward tie down cleats per instructions. The cover will fit below it leaving the cleat available above the cover if needed. Also, the side rails do impede the opening of the in-bed trunk lid. But not significantly enough for what I use it for. It may impact the ability to get a large cooler in and out of the in-bed trunk.

The only two issues I have are somewhat minor. You lose two of your tie downs at the front of the bed. I have been able to work around that. The second is that there is a slight amount of water that gets into the bed during hard rain storms. If I know I am going through a storm I will make sure anything that might get damaged is up on the risers that the bed has naturally in it.

I could not be more satisfied! The BAKflip G2 cover kit for my Ridgeline fit perfectly. All parts were included and the installation could not have been smoother. I have never had an automotive installation gone as well as this one. It installed without any issues, did not require any trimming or adjustments, looks and operates great! It was worth every penny spent! I highly recommend it! High quality in both design and materials.

The predrilled holes did not line up correctly. It caused the bolts to strip its threads. Very frustrating.

Front Side rail holes are in the wrong location. White locking tabs pulled by cable should be metal.

Great product. Little to no water in bed after install. Wasn't sure this was the right product with the trunk not opening all the way. There is plenty of room. Had some small issues with install. Mounting holes were off a 1/4 inch. So took a little frustration to get it right.

Overall a good fit. I knew going in that I would lose some tie downs. I lost 4 of 8. The instructions were okay but not great. I had two screw left over that I can't account for. I had to drill out the front supports on one side because they did not line up exactly. That was a small thing. The rubber seal on the edge has not conformed to the truck yet. It was deformed where the factory had the support rods rubber banded to the cover panels and the edging was warped because of the pressure from the rubber bands.

The packaging is outstanding. The appearance is also outstanding. The Quality is excellent. The website doesn't tell you what size star sockets you need. I had to go get a 40. It is handy to have 2 folks do the last step..attaching the final wing nuts to hold down the cover. The instructions don't include what to do with the self tapping screws even though it is obvious. I haven't installed them as the fit seems fine without them. The self stick tape on one of the plastic cover plates was shot. I ended up using black Gorilla tape to cover the opening. A new plate would be nice. I believe this to be an outstanding product.
