The installation was a challenge because I needed to install a 1" spacer on each side of the bed rail for it to fit properly. I also ended up using self tapping screws to secure the rails to the inside of truck bed because the clamps did not work with the 1" spacers on each side. Once installed, the automatic feature worked very well and with the Bed Rug installed earlier made my truck bed easy to access and a pleasure to use being that I'm not hauling aggregate, dirt or rubbish. The Bed Rug and the Pace Edwards BedLocker Tonneau "Automatic" Cover turned the bed of my truck into a very useful trunk space. I would highly recommend these products provided you have other trucks to haul dirt and junk.
