Safely manage your light-duty towing rig with the Curt Captivator Brake Controller. The Captivator engages when you hit the brakes and increases its pressure until it hits full strength. It can easily hook up to trailers with up to 4 axles, getting you and your rig on the road quickly and securely.
The user-friendly Curt Captivator can control both electric and hydraulic type brake systems. The Captivator 3 can handle snowmobile or utility-style trailers with up to 2 axles and is built with an LED display. For bigger towing jobs, the Captivator 4 controls trailers with up to 4 axles and comes with a digital display that shows voltage, amps, and % power for continual feedback. Both models use a timed controller design that steadily increases the braking pressure over time before reaching full force. They also include Curt's innovative Quick Plug hookup design, for easy interfacing with the Curt Quick Plug Brake Harness (sold separately).
The Curt Captivator 3 is backed with a 3-year warranty, and the Captivator 4 comes with a limited Lifetime Warranty.
