    Everything went together fast and easy. However the I was missing the remote control fob and the electrical connection end from the plow to the truck was smashed during shipping.

    I really like the curt front receiver hitch. Its easy to install and seems to be very well made. I've used other receiver hitches in the past and the curt brand by far is the best hitch for your money compared to other hitches that I've used in the past.

    The first receiver hitch I received was the wrong one so it was returned and a different one was sent. I had specifically mentioned that the item was for a 2007 GMC 2500 HD classic body style with tow hooks. The new one was correct. The instructions for mounting were minimal and I needed to remove a panel under the truck to get more room for putting in the front bolts. The instructions should include that information. They should also mention to remove the inside and bottom bolt on the tow hooks and loosen the outside bolt. Loosening the outside bolt allowed me to move the hook enough to get the bolts started. There was not enough clearance room to position the bolts to get the threads started. With the other tow hook bolt loosened, it went together easily.
