Best yet, all Curt Hitches are custom-designed for a precise, perfect fit on your exact vehicle and maximum towing strength. The item shipped quickly and seems to be well made with a good quality coating. Install was easy and the included hardware is good. The only issue is that despite being one class higher than the factory receiver, it has two less mounting points than the factory receiver. Factory had 3 bolts in each frame rail and 2 more that go up into the bumper subframe which spans between the two frame rails. This replacement receiver only has the 3 bolts going into each frame rail and is missing the provision entirely for mounting the 2 bolts into the bumper subframe.

Great product. Easy to install with 2 people. 3 Bolts on each side easily identifiable on 2009 Silverado 1500. Simply remove factory bolts and install bolts packaged with winch. Product packaging is weak and was destroyed by shipping comany. Fortunately there was only 1 minor scratch of product itself and the bolting hardware was still in the box.

Nice hitch the only problem I had was that the square hole spacer is to small it would just spin. I could not use new hardware. I used the existing hardware. Hitch seems heavy duty was packaged awesome. If you send bigger square hole spacers I will install them. It is the silver parts in photo.

Product is very substantial, much heavier duty than the hitch that came on my truck from the dealer (and failed). Install was straight-forward. By the way, the spare tire does not have to be taken off of the truck to allow for removal of the old hitch or installation the new one. Well pleased, good value.

Removing the one bolts was the hardest part. The new receiver is missing two bolts compared to the OEM class 3 that came on my 2013 Silverado 1500. The hardware sent is nice and I like that the nuts are designed to bite into the frame if they try to loosen up. I feel that the receiver needs more paint and may rust sooner than expected. It’s better than my fully rusted-out OEM receiver and it’s a fair price for a well-built piece of steel.
