The overall installation went amazingly smooth. I'm happy with the hitch, looking forward to getting the electronics installed and making use of it. Here are my top "likes/dislikes" Likes: * The finish on the unit was fantastic. I was really careful not to damage the paint anywhere during the install as to prevent future corrosion. * The mounting hole alignment was generally spot-on. Like any mount-up, it took a little wiggling to get it aligned exactly, but great fit. * The small spring wire tools for holding the U-bolts during the install were fantastic, could not have held them in place otherwise. Dislikes: * The U-Bolt and associated mounting nuts were not of high enough quality. When installing the U-Bolt, I backed it off after gently seating it in order to add some blue Locktite. When doing this, the nut and U-bolt galled...now, regardless of how much I tighten, the nut doesn't move and I cannot get the required torque on that side of the "U". Use higher quality hardware here! * The backing plates for the large 1/2" carriage bolts that mount to the tire well did not extend fully across the hole where the plug was removed. Using common sense, I recognized that this hole would be mostly subjected to "pulling force" like acceleration instead of "pushing force" like during braking. So oriented the longer portion of the backing plate towards the front of the vehicle. The plate does not span the entire hole though, perhaps this connection point needs a little more thought.
