This is my second set of Core Trax rails. I love them. The are smooth when not in use and almost always the best tie down available. Ease of installation depends on ease of access behind the mounting surface. Inside most pickup bed rails is quite easy. Across the front end of late model gmc/Chevy trucks is a real pain. You will need some pretty trick tools or a scrawny kid with long fingers.
