I love this rack, I use it just for ladders. I originally bought it for our 2007 Nissan Titan. Now it is on my 2011 Chevy Silverado. The stake mounts are much easier to install. Quite sturdy of a rack and it looks great with our Softopper.

My review is specifically for those new Chevrolet Colorado owners out there. I wouldn't have purchased this knowing what I know now. I bought the stake kit, which is too long for the front. Luckily, I own a metal chop saw, so I was able to cut an inch off. The other mounting options don't seem applicable due to the factory plastic bed rail protectors. The rack itself is way too tall and I purchased the shortest one. It sits at least 8 inches higher than the cab. Can't wait to get stuck trying to go into a parking garage. I own a welder, so I'm probably going to chop off at least 6" in height. The Colorado has a deeper bed than most mid-sized trucks AND is taller overall. I own a 2016. Sure, it clears the antennae, but it scares me to think how top heavy and unsafe the truck will be w/ a heavy load on the rack. My advice to Colorado owners: Get a custom one built until manufacturers of universal racks figure out that their products don't work well with these models and do something about it.
