The Meyer Blaster Tailgate Spreader comes standard with an on-demand vibrator, and a pressure reducing, load-bearing baffle plate. A multi-spiked auger digs deep within the hopper - plus, its patent-pending design prevents material leakage. The 1/5 HP direct-drive motor is linked directly to the auger, giving you 75% more power. All of these elements work together to pulverize congealed material and put it out in an even spread, even in the worst of conditions. In addition, this spreader stops on a dime when your brake is depressed, meaning you'll really get your money's worth out of your ice-melt.
Constructed in rust-proof polyurethane, the hopper features heavy-duty locking straps to keep moisture from entering – the hopper’s frame is powder coated in rust resistant automotive paint.
