The installation went well for the most part. However, the screws that hold the latch in place have changed and can't be used to mount the bracket. I had to use other bolts from another area in the tailgate and even these were tight. Pop&Lock should consider supplying these screws as depicted in the installation. Other than this and Honda's use of clips to keep the tailgate molding in place it is a very straightforward install.

Works great. Locks both releases. Directions were very good except the pictures could have been clearer. Figuring out how to install the custom locking bracket took a little experimentation. The directions on how to remove the tailgate trim were perfect.

I really like the lock I purchased. I bought the bed cover and changed my lock to secure everything in my truck. It was easy to install and works really good.

Lock was pretty simple to install...very good instructions, both written and pics...hardest part was to reinstall clips in tailgate cover and align for reinstallation...lock works fine and looks really clean and professional...it locks both parts of the tailgate on my Ridgeline...slick!!

Works as described, pops on and locks. I have a plastic handle for the gate, and this puts some pressure on the handle. Sort of feels like it would break if pulled very hard, but that's the handles problem, not the lock.

I was disappointed in the instructions for installation and then when I realized that I would need a key every time I wanted to open the tailgate, I decided not to go forward.

The idea is great and it does work. I just had trouble with it raising my handle about a 1/4" above the surface of the tailgate. Solved that by grinding metal off the Pop and Lock. Locks and looks great. I'm concerned that the key is not too secure if someone wanted to pick it. I gave 4 stars because of the extra work to get the handle to install flat.

100% as advertised! Delivery was within a week cross-country to my door, and protected by a carrier signature. The lock and all it's parts were packaged nicely, and the installation directions were 'follow your nose' easy! I think it took me longer to wipe-down the dirty inner-side of my tailgate than the actual lock install. I used the optional rod extensions provided to give the lock a bit more leverage. They installed easily and worked perfectly. When everything was finished, I received several comments that it looked factory, which of course, is the ultimate compliment to your product! I give Pop n Lock my highest recommendation!

Lock installed very quickly and easily and works great! The color (silver is a perfect match) is excellent. The only reason I did not give a 5 for appearance was the radius on the bottom right side did not match the radius of the handle opening very well. That is the only nitpick I could find to make!

After getting the pop-n-lock electric tailgate lock installed it is very nice and usefull. I found installation a little more complex than the description makes it out to be. There is alot involved but overall I am happy.

Received my cover and was very happy with the quality of the cover. I had downloaded the installation instructions prior to recieving the cover and had a good idea of how to install. unpacked all the parts and followed the instructions and had the cover on my truck in about two hours. Made several adjustments for a good fit and it looked great. The ability to open and lock both the rear and front sections are great. The next day made a long trip for our sons wrestling match and on the way home drove through some heavy south Florida rain and to my surprise not one drop of water made it into the truck bed. I would recommend this top to anyone.
