I had used the cargo area of my older van for lugging all sorts of things which made a mess of the carpeting there. When I bought my new Ford Escape, my daughter suggested a WeatherTech liner. It arrived and I had it installed in minutes. It fit perfectly and will protect my Escape for years to come. These are the Rolls Royce of car floor mats. They look great and would really protect the floor of the Explorer. With a very irregular floor, that's saying a lot. However, they look so great I find myself being a real neat-nik. I don't want anything on my floor liners!

The cargo liner does not go all the way to the second row seats like in the picture. It doesn't even go all of the way to the tracks - it stops about 6 inches short. This means if you want to put items near the second row seatbacks, you have to put them on the lip of the liner and bend it over. I'd call it poorly designed.

The cargo mat fits the shape of the trunk perfectly and had some recesses where there were bolts to secure the mat in place. Took a day to unroll from how it was shipped but a great product for anyone.

I was worried that the sides wouldn't stay up, but conforming precisely to the perimeter of the open space keeps the sides upright and able to trap any liquid spills in the trunk. The liner came rolled in a shipping container. When I unrolled it, it immediately lay flat. I have used it for 2 weeks and it is an excellent liner. It discourages cargo slide, and catches spills well.

Very disappointed; the liner is reasonably well made but it's VERY thin, too thin and it actually slides on the carpet. It's more of hard plastic feel than rubbery. It does fit the car reasonably well but it's simply too much money for such a thin liner. The margin/markup on this must be tremendous!

First off, I'd like to say that this cargo liner is EXACTLY what I needed. It fits my trunk and leaves no extra spaces to fill in. This thing is DURABLE. I have a job that requires me to load my trunk and at the same time be exposed to the elements YEAR ROUND. Even as an aftermarket accessory, this thing outperforms the stock liner I had in it originally. I haven't cleaned this thing since I installed it and it still LOOKS BRAND NEW. Overall, I'm more than happy that I bought it.

The liner fit quite well and was a snap to install. The black matched my charcoal black interior nicely. It could use a couple of velcro type strips to better hold it in place when unloading heavy objects, but no big deal. I would recommend this item to anyone.

I totally love my Weather Tech Cargo Liner. I just bought a new Hyundia Genesis and wanted to protect the trunk from dirt and spills. The liner does the job. It also makes it so much easier to clean with a vacuum cleaner or just a wet cloth for dirt. When I received the liner I just lay it in the sun for about 5 minutes which straitened any kinks it had from being packed. Actually I was impressed how well it was packed. The liner fits my trunk like a glove and is high end quality. In the little brochure that comes with the mat there is a picture of Tech floor that will be coming out for your garage floor. It looks stunning if you ever consider doing your garage floor.

The fit is terrible for my 4runner. I have the double decker cargo system and was going back and forth whether to get the liner for the system or not. I ended up getting it, and regret it. I think (would hope at least), that the liner designed for the 4runners without the double decker would work better, but I don't know. Stay away from this liner if you have the double decker system.
