Hitch seems well made and plenty durable. However, installation on a saturn vue (green line if it matters) was much more difficult than expected. I heeded the advice of earlier reviewers and cleaned out the mounting holes on the vehicle frame, but the bolts were still extremely tight and difficult to turn. I broke the mechanism in a 1/2" ratchet wrench and had to use a non-ratchet driver. Still have not been able to get one bolt all the way tight, but a little at a time it may go, or I might strip the head. At least I won't have to worry about them ever coming loose, and I mean ever. This is a one-way trip! Second, the wires for pulling the bolt and block through the bumper tube were not long enough to reach the exit on the side of the bumper from the holes in the center, so I had to extend it by knotting it with a longer wire. However, there are intruding bolts and such on the interior of the bumper beam, and the block got stuck. Could not get it to go all the way in or back out. A little too much tension on the pull wire and the threaded part stretched out like a slinky and left the bolt and block inaccessible in the bumper. So one is lost. I am going to try the second with a stiffer wire like from a coat hanger attached very close to the head of the pull cable, to try to be able to lift the bolt and block up, away from the intrusions in the bumper beam. At this point mine is installed with 5 bolts tight, 1 loose, and 2 (center ones) not installed at all, but it is still firmly mounted, and hasn't shown any movement. So good luck and happy towing to you!

This is an excellent product. My only difficulty installing it was that the carriage nuts under my 2005 Corolla were filled with 175000 miles of road crud and it took some time to clean the threads. Other than that, installation was very simple.

Hitch is easily attached to Vue as hitch holes and bolts fit as advertised. It took about 40 minutes to complete the job after cleaning out the bolt holes on the Vue (due to years of dirt accumulation). Had to use a round 1/2 in steel brush to do the cleaning. Received the hitch in 3 days. Would definitely buy from autoaccessoriesgarage.com again.

Product was in relatively good condition, despite the poor packaging. There was ZERO material inside the outer box, not even to prevent the rack from breaking through the box - which it had in many spots. And because of that, there was paint chipped off, and with one rain, there is already rust... Shouldn't be so cheap and try to fit too many racks in to one box - it was way too big.

Unit presses up too tightly against the rear bumper fascia. The receiver connection point should be about 1/4" lower.

The hitch didn't quite fit my 2011 F-150 only due to the fact that the manufacturer didn't have the bumper alligned correctly. The bumper bolts loosened very easily so I could raise it just a quarter inch. The Reese hitch then fit perfectly with ease.

The directions asked to pass the bolt through the elongated hole on the hitch. Unfortunately, the matching hole on the car frame it was meant for was not big enough so I had to pull from way up the frame which was quite difficult.

The hitch was made wrong by Reese, would not bolt up, the hole pattern was off by 1/2 "...1 call to Reese and they sent me a new hitch in 3 days and had fedx pick up the bad one...the rating is on the good one.

Very good product - would recommend. One caveat - the shipping container is useless. Part was essentially shipped with no packaging by the time it arrived at my house. UPS's fault? Not sure. Plastic parts were damaged and could not be used. Called AAG and had those parts replaced (insert and cover for 2 inch hitch opening).

No drilling required, however some "hole enlarging" was necessary on the frame to fit the steel plates through the holes, and the bolt heads. Add about a half hour of upside down heavy hammer banging with a heavy flat-bar in the other to widen the holes about 1/8 of an inch. Other than that, does the job and fits right on.

I didn't have to do any drilling to install on my 2007 Ford Ranger but the supplied bolts were SAE and the stock j-nuts are metric. Removing the j-nuts didn't make sense to me so I bought some longer metric bolts and they worked great.
