I am frankly a little disappointed in this dashmat. There was not a cut out area to show the vin number which in California if the vin # does not show through the window you will receive a ticket. I also feel that around the air flow ducts across the front of the windshield could have been stitched as nicely as the outer area was as it does not lay down as nice even with the Velcro. Around the instrument area the fit is sloppy and wont lay down.

I've owned many Dashmats since the company started, being a long term loyal customer; however, after this purchase I question if I will order again. This time, I first ordered the faux swede version for my new car. I was so poorly made, it shows a dramatic downturn in QUALITY. I returned it due to the template not matching my car and holes that were required for light sensors were not placed correctly, with a seriously bad fit with a lousy quality fabric and less of a warranty. Dashmat has also stopped putting a stitched boarder around cut outs for vents and such; another quality issue to save a couple dollars, a process that cheapens your product and shows quality is not a priority. I have a Dashmat from a few years ago still in my Jeep; the quality is FAR SUPERIOR. Since the move to Texas and likely the products being produced in Mexico? the quality has dramatically deteriorated! I re-ordered the "original" version only to discover the same cheap lack of quality; the vent holes were not stitched with any border and the cuts looked like they were made by a 3rd grader with plastic scissors. There were even jagged edges to the vent hole cuts.

The dashpad worked great. Fit right in with no problems. The only thing I think needs to change, is that I think there needs to be a little more Velcro sent with it to secure it down better. I went and bought some and it looks a lot better. But it is a great product.

The dash mat supplied (for 2012 Nissan Murano) is a poor excuse for such a product. It looks / feels like a floor rug on the dash. My prior experience with such a product for a 2003 Nissan Murano was with a thin, supple, easy to fit foam backed material that shows as good as when it was installed 9 years ago. Not so for this one, unfortunately.

I was quite impressed and pleased with the quality of the DashMat cover purchased for my truck. Installation was simple and took less than 30-minutes. In order to achieve the desired fit on edges and ductwork openings, an additional 36" of Velcro material was necessary. Now the fit matches the quality of the product. Great product, just plan on having extra Velcro material available if you want a professional look. Five-stars easy with more Velcro!

1.) Defroster vent holes were cut too small. I had to cut them 75% larger with scissors. 2.) Not enough Velcro supplied to make cover form fit to dashboard curves. I had to buy more. 3.) Cover is extremely thin, compared to other less expensive covers I've seen.
