The hitch itself is great. Was VERY easy to install with 2 people. However, they put a little nipple inside and the adapter wouldn't go in all the way, so my husband had to cut the end off the adapter. We question why they did that.

The Hidden Hitch Class 3 Receiver is the ideal hitch for my application. The hitch is actually stronger than the CRV, and it turns out the CRV frame is pre-drilled for a factory hitch and the HH Class 3 receiver simply bolts into the existing mounting points. Right product, right price, no issues. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This 2,000 lb hitch is less expensive than the 3,500 lb and both may be much more than the rated capacity of you vehicle. However, the 3.500 lb. hitch is much easier to install and looks much better. "Enlarging" the mounting holes and holding the bolts in place to start the nuts can be time consuming. The silver covered spacers to attach it to the tie down don't match all the black surroundings of the under body and the hitch.

Super, easy to install, the directions were complete. One hint on the 2001 BMW X5 find the upper fender slide on the refit, otherwise less than 2 hours start to finish.

This is a great hitch, the third hidden hitch I've owned in my lifetime. Quality is second to none, my only complaint is AAG showed a round hitch image and the product info said square. I was hoping to receive the round version but the square looks just as good. Took about an hour for me to install on my F250 but I've also installed these before.

Installation was very easy even for a guy that doesn't have a lot of automotive knowledge. I would however recommend going out to UTube to view the actual video for installation as it will help you visualize the installation process and reassure what you are doing is correct. Overall a very good experience and certainly glad I did not pay the dealer $600 to do for me!

We ordered a Hidden Hitch but got a draw-tite. One of the holes to bolt into the bumper did NOT meet. Also I had to deflate the spare to make the rest of the bolts line up. Re-inflated tire to 28lbs.

1)The hitch was delivered all beaten up and scratched because of poor packaging. Components of the hitch were hitting each other in the box. I spray painted the hitch silver to match the car body. 2) One of the plates that was placed inside a frame started spinning in there as I was tightening the bolt. That took me about two hours and additional hardware to solve. I suggest providing adhesive or making protrusions to keep plates from spinning. I also suggest making plates more narrow so they fit through the holes without filing slots. (those 4 plate washers that go into the frame holes) 3)The hitch is a bit too flexible for a bike rack full of bikes. 4) Bottom wire loop hits a curb. Why is it there? 5) The hitch was a little cocked, making it harder to install. If you are a customer, don't cut slots in the frame holes, grind down rectangular washers to fit through the hole, epoxy them in place. Tighten nuts to torque spec only after epoxy dries... Or use vice-grips to keep bolts (also plates) from turning.

This is a nice hitch, and not too visible when it's not in use. As one of the chassis holes needed to be enlarged in order to install, I have to say the installation overall was about as much fun as sticking your hand in a barrel of cats. But once the hole's enlarged, it's not too bad, about 30 minutes to install. I also have an aftermarket exhaust with polyurethane hangers, and I was worried about it getting in the way of the hitch, but no worries! There is a slight rattle in reverse though, which I suspect is the exhaust vibrating against the hitch. This is probably due to the polyurethane hangers holding the exhaust higher than the stock rubber ones. It's not too annoying, and doesn't happen when the car's warmed up though!

The wiring and figuring out how to get the spare tire off took longer than putting the hitch itself on. Received this hitch much sooner than expected and overall the installation was easier than I thought it would be. Thanks AAG!
