Well, like all the reviews I read, there was hardware missing. Also had some dings and bends on arrival.

Simple, clean design. Easy to assemble. Haven't needed it yet and actually hope I don't. Can't really rate performance but I'm sure it will serve me well. Ordered On Tues. (evening) and had it the following Tues., over the T-day holiday. Impressive response for shipping.

I have not had the opportunity to use the plow yet, but it went together well and a dry run went very well.

Great small plow for residential purposes. AAG is definitely the easiest place to buy a plow. The price was great and the shipping was great.

This replaces a previous SnowBear plow that has cracked and rusted through. Being light-weight and small, it puts less strain on the truck and I can lift it into the bed for travel. The simple attachment is a plus. I wish paint/rust-resistance were better but for the price, it's durable and functionable enough.

You need to put 2 more holes in angle midway. Stand post needs to be more flexible. One more ft. of wire on winch. Didn't have to much snow to plow here.

The shipment came in undamaged and in several boxes. The instructions were not the best but was able to use different bolts to make it work. Looks like it is made well. Compared to spending 2 to 3 times as much this is a great buy!

Great plow and easy to install. Second snowbear plow that I've owned. I'll have to wait for the next winter to check it out on this vehicle.

First off, this plow does not come with snow shoes. You need to buy those separately, luckily I do so. Okay, now to the review: I received this plow 2 weeks ago just in time for the big storm. We got over a foot and a half here in MA and I used this plow to keep mine and our neighbors house accessible. It's maiden voyage proved successful and then some, I was able to clear the driveways with ease, it also hooked up to my Tacoma relatively easily. I have the 88" version which I'm glad I went with over the smaller sizes. You may want the smaller one if you're worried about tight areas but that's not a problem in my case. This might not be the best plow for commercial use but I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a plow for their personal truck.

This is a heavy-duty plow, I went with the 84" model and I think it's the best compromise between plowing surface and maneuverability. We haven't received a huge amount of snow yet but doing a "dry" run around the neighborhood proved successful. I also purchased the skid shoes which I was bummed that Snowbear didn't include that in the plow kit, in my opinion those are a necessity to protect the blade. Expect to spend a bit of time properly installing this plow but as long as you follow directions you should have no trouble. -Matt

Easy to install and work. However the 2nd time I used mine the frame holding the winch broke. The cause was poor welding. You could see bubbles in the weld and it was barely held together. Once I welded both sides up properly it has worked great.

So far things are looking good. The plow quality is good and everything is installed and working. Like other reviews I saw before I purchased I felt the instructions were lacking but the actual installation was very straight forward none the less. The hardware included was missing all the carriage nuts & bolts that hold the blade edge on but they were easily obtainable locally without bothering to contact support and wait for them to ship. The installation took me a couple hours to install the front hitch that the plow mounts to and another 2 hours to assemble and install the plow but this was in my home garage by myself with hand tools. I took my time so as not to have any regrets and the parts were heavy for one person but manageable. Waiting for snow now but everything is ready.

It took longer to install than I expected. Once installed I found the wiring quik connect wiring harness needed a tighter fit. I called the factory which did send me a replacement harness. after this was installed the plow worked fine. Only needed twice this year.

I have owned several hydraulic plows, mostly Meyers and this SnowBear Plow is the best for the money in it's class... Exact fit frame brackets worked out great for my 1997 Nissan 4x4 (one owner, me) but I did have to use one of the 2WD installation "L" bolts inserted into the box frame since there is no way to start a bolt down hill when you have a closed frame. My other three frame bolts worked just fine since welded nuts were inside the frame. Skid Shoes are a must unless you have a short and in good shape asphalt or concrete driveway.... I have a 200' country drive way in road mix gravel which skid shoes are a must. I was disappointed on the skid shoe MAX ADJUSTMENT only lifting the scraper bar cutting edge only about 1", more height adjustment should have been taken into consideration by the person that designed these. Corner Markers nuts... Buy from AAG you will get a deflector kit in the 82" personal plow, DO NOT use the nuts for the corner markers, they are crimp style lock nuts and they run way to tight all the way down, go to the hardware store and BUY 2 NYLOC self locking nuts and save yourself a headache. I broke the stud off one corner mount and SnowBear warrantied that with a new set of replacement markers. I have a lot of out buildings I plow and a lane down to my pump house as well as roof slide zones for snow. I have not used mine yet due to a snow drought in Southwest Idaho but storms are now rolling in tonight. But with my past experience with hydraulic plows this is all you need for taking care of your own drive way, it will not hold up for hours on end for commercial snow removal. Installation was fast, I did mine with a buddy and total time was about 4 hours, use the second person instead of fighting the weight of the metal parts yourself, it will pay off and end a lot of frustration. I could have been faster with an equipped shop but it was cold and I didn't fire up a heat source to work comfortable for the short time doing assembly. You will have to use some mechanic savvy because the directions are not 100% accurate but anyone that owns tools will be able to figure out what to adjust as far as installation instructions. WATCH THE assembly VIDEOS they will help you a lot (You Tube). NON Hydraulic benefits are half the weight and half the price of power angling plows, I did not want to tear up my front end with a 400 pound plow and when I owned hydraulic plows for commercial use there was always ice clods/chucks breaking off 90 degree fitting on the angling rams no matter how I anchored hoses using a bazillion tie straps, fittings just break and cold weather breakdowns are a royal pain. You will not regret your SnowBear snow plow purchase, simply the best for homeowner use. I bought lights, skid shoes and an extra set of corner markers so it was 7 cartons shipped on a pallet strapped down, 330 pounds total but you won't need a lift gate, just cut the straps off the pallet with the truck driver and wing the boxes off the back of the delivery trailer.

Wasn't too hard to install, except the custom mounting bracket bolts were for standard size and the nuts for the 99 Durango are metric needless to say striped the nuts and had to remove the dumper to replace the nuts, took several hours and had buy new bolts to replace the that were stripped. Someone needs to check up on this issue.

Very easy to use and install, I was a bit afraid of the initial setup since I've never had a plow before but the instructions and intuitiveness proved to not be a problem at all. The quality is even heavier-duty than I thought based on the photos online. Seems like my SnowBear will last for many years to come!

It was a little bit of work putting the snow plow together by myself, but managed it ok. It was missing two nuts which I had to supply myself, but other than that it went together great. It seems like a great system. Well constructed, and designed well for a light duty snow plow. Haven't used it since it hasn't snowed yet. Looking for forward to the first snow.

The assembly instructions stunk! The bolts are not shown to scale, there are steps left out, the photos do not adequately show the steps. I had to pay someone to do it for me. Not happy at all about this process. I am also having a problem with the blade direction control arm.
