About DC Sports

In 1987, twin brothers Darrick and Darrell Contreras were called upon by American Honda to create a header for the 1988 CRX race car. Their attention to detail and devotion to performance, as well as their use of advanced technology and quality control impressed Honda, who asked them to develop race headers for more vehicles. DC Sports was born.

DC Sports expanded throughout the 1990s to include exhaust systems and headers, as well as short shifters, strut braces, and more accessories for racing and street-legal applications. Through leading-edge custom manufacturing procedures combined with a strict commitment to quality control, DC Sports became a leading performance brand among Honda and Acura racers.

DC Sports Exhaust Systems and other products are dyno-tested on their Dynapack Chassis Dynamometer and Dynamic Testing Systems Dyno for more power than the competition, guaranteed. Their state-of-the-art equipment includes robotic plasma cutters and welders, CNC mills, lathes and benders. This equipment ensures a perfect fit and the most consistent quality control.

In 2004 AEM (Advanced Engine Management) acquired DC Sports Inc., bringing together two pioneers in the sport compact aftermarket. DC Sports and AEM together provide unmatched performance parts from the air filter to the exhaust tip, and everywhere in between. DC Sports and AEM are dedicated to providing the best products for the best price, with unmatched customer service.

The DC Sports vision is to become the top competitor in the performance electronics and bolt-on equipment segments on the North American auto aftermarket. Their strong work ethic and commitment to product innovation and integrity will prove DC Sports to be a leader in product quality and value. Plus, their "customer comes first" policy will continue to satisfy and retain customers well after their first purchase.

First I would like to say that installing any headers on a front wheel drive v6 is no easy task, but do not waste your time attempting to install anything other than the 3-1 DC headers on your v6 Tiburon. Do not cheap out when it comes to this. The performance, quality, and fitment are well worth the few extra dollars. *disclaimer* The set does not come with replacement gaskets for your cylinder head, but you can pick up a set from any auto store for around $10. I was extremely satisfied with the purchase.
