About Meyer

When it comes to clearing snowy paths, no one has more experience than Meyer. Since 1926, Meyer Plows and commercial-grade snow plows have been keeping roads, paths, and parking lots clear and safe. With over eight decades in the field, they sure know how to push some snow.

Meyer Plows feature the kind of tough sealed hydraulic control and rugged construction you expect from a commercial plow, but at an affordable consumer-grade price. Remote controlled systems let you operate your plow from the warm, safe confines of your driver's seat, and features like Auto-Angling blades and integrated casters make for easy installation and safer driving.

Meyer Products is dedicated to providing reliable, innovative snow and ice control systems at competitive prices. Whatever your snow-clearing needs, do it right winter after winter with a Meyer plow.

It took longer to remove the frame end cap screw than to install the hitch. I have a new frame on my 2006 Tacoma but they used the old end caps and stripped one of the bolt heads. After removing the end caps it was about an hour to install the hitch. There were three different torques two bolts would not take a socket. The plow blade wire harness took about a half hour, the blade mount about 15 minutes. The quality of the hitch and plow are outstanding, welds, fit and finish are great. Former quality control auditor. Haven't had snow to plow yet. I got my first Meyer Plow 50 years ago, full hydraulic mounted on a GMC 12 foot stake dump with a ton of weight on the axle.never got tuck, plowed in the blizzard of '76

This came with a T harness for the lights. This part only helps if you have a factory 7-pin trailer connector that unplugs. Still working through light issues. The parking/turn signal lights have only turned on once. The headlights SOMETIMES turn off with the vehicle. Sometimes I have to unplug both harnesses from the plow.

The hardest part was running the control wires into the cab. All in needed for that was a hole saw and the location to drill.

Product seems to be very sturdy. We've only used it once so far, but it has worked very well. Assembly was also very easy. The shipment was delayed and we never received an explanation. That was disappointing. The box was bashed up pretty badly when we received it, so there was concern the product was damaged. But it was fine with no defects or problems with the product itself. Overall very happy with the product.
