100
percent urethane, 200 percent better!
Tired of the sloppiness in your vehicle's suspension? Factory
rubber bushings were never meant to take much abuse. This
sloppiness can be considered a direct result. Prothane's urethane
suspension bushings were developed to control torque and deflection,
giving you a noticeable improvement in handling, cornering,
and ride. Plus, Prothane's materials are unaffected by most
chemicals and weather conditions, allowing them to last virtually
forever. To save you money, all of the bushings available
for your truck or car are available in these kits for a fraction
of the cost of purchasing them separately.

Drastically
improve your ride in just a few hours!
With
Prothane's polyurethane body mount bushings, you can drastically
improve your ride in just a few hours. One of the best and
most cost-effective ways to improve the handling and feel
of your vehicle is to replace those mushy and worn-out body
mount bushings. These high-quality polyurethane bushings not
only outperform even new OE rubber bushings, but they last
much longer and are less prone to deteriorate. They give you
extra rigidity for excellent handling, yet are forgiving enough
for those long hauls.

Production
vehicles are built using rubber bushings in control arms,
strut arms, leaf springs, body mounts, motor mounts, transmission
mounts, sway bars and shocks. Additionally, rubber components
can be found being used on coil spring pads, leaf spring pads
and suspension bump stops. Not only are rubber components
on the soft side to accommodate the typical car and truck
buyer, they tend to deteriorate rapidly. This contributes
to premature component failure, a "spongy" ride
and less than ideal performance handling. Urethane can correct
these conditions, while improving driveabilty.

No
More Mushy Rubber Bushings!
You
can imagine how difficult it is to maintain the proper front
suspension caster, camber, and toe settings when the control
arms are wobbling on mushy rubber bushings. Prothane's front
control arm bushings are designed to provide superior handling
through optimum compliance resistance. Furthermore, you can
be assured that your alignment settings will be accurately
maintained.

Feel
the difference!
In
leaf spring type suspensions, there are significant forces
focused on the pivot points and shackles. For this reason,
it is imperative to replace the soft, blown-out OEM rubber
bushings. Why not replace them with a set of these Prothane
leaf spring and shackle bushings? They're made of premium
grade polyurethane and precision fabricated for a perfect
fit. Plus, they won't wear out or deteriorate like the stock
set. Who could ask for more?

Custom
Fit!
Prothane
offers a wide variety of motor mount styles. In all cases,
their mounts are designed to limit the travel, reduce the
chance of breakage, and put the power to the wheels. All of
the motor mount kits feature application-specific engineering.
In other words, they're not universal in fit, and they provide
you with the performance you demand. If applicable, the mounts
feature a polylocked "run-safe" feature, just in
case you play way too hard, so you can still get back home.

Precision
Made!
Prothane
offers precision made, yet universal, sway bar bushing sets
that deliver maximum performance. The same formulated performance
compound found in their other bushings is used here, giving
you superior handling over the stock rubber units. A wide
range is available to cover all popular applications, and
brackets are included.

Control
torque!
Factory rubber transmission mounts were never intended to
take much abuse, so the resultant sloppiness in your drivetrain
can be largely traced to them. These mounts are designed to
control torque and eliminate breakage. Where applicable, they
feature the polylocked "run-safe" interlocking device,
so you'll never be left stranded like a broken stock mount
will.

| About
Prothane - www.prothane.com |
PROTHANE™
was founded in 1991 when it acquired a little known manufacturer
by the name of BC Engineering. At the time, BC offered less
than 100 part numbers, mostly for trucks. But it's special formulations,
precise engineering methods and attention to customer's needs
caught their eye. Well, the rest as they say is history and
Prothane now offers the most extensive line of urethane based
performance products for cars and trucks on the planet. Whether
it's an Asian or European import or any popular American car
or truck, PROTHANE™ has products for it.
Why Use Urethane?
Production vehicles are built using rubber bushings in control
arms, strut arms, leaf springs, body mounts, motor mounts, transmission
mounts, sway bars and shocks. Additionally, rubber components
can be found being used on coil spring pads, leaf spring pads
and suspension bump stops. Not only are rubber components on
the soft side to accommodate the typical car and truck buyer,
they tend to deteriorate rapidly. This contributes to premature
component failure, a "spongy" ride and less than ideal
performance handling. Urethane can correct these conditions,
while improving drivability
Innovative Solutions
Prothane has conquered many design challenges with some pretty
cool innovations. Here are two examples: The first one was eliminating
the need for grease fittings or the inclusion of worthless additives
which may reduce the integrity of the part. They were the very
first to use splined or grooved bores which holds in their very
own SuperGrease™-guaranteeing you years of squeak free
operation! The other is their super trick Motor Mount Inserts
for front drive sport compacts. This unique approach lets the
vehicle be driven either hard or easy without stock mount failure
or any ride sacrifice. Trust PROTHANE™ to always be researching
better ways to enhance the performance of their products and
your vehicle. |
