    The guard I received had some fit & finish issues, but Auto Accessories Garage customer service was outstanding in getting the problems resolved. PROS: Be advised-this guard is extra large! 40" wide on my Dodge Ram. What I like best is that-unlike the newer 'bull bars'-this guard is tall and sits out from the grill & bumper enough to actually protect the truck from minor collision damage- much like the grill/brush guards from the past used to do. CONS: The instructions! Assembling the actual guard is pretty straightforward but installation was another matter. The bracket system that attaches to the frame is a convoluted design. The instructions showed photos of both the passenger side and drivers side without identifying which was which, and the bracket pieces were slightly different but not marked as to which side they were for. I recommend that before trying to assemble the guard, you dry fit the bolts into the threaded holes in the upper and lower tubes. The powder coating can create a problem and the threads may need to be chased.
