It sits too high on the cross bars on my 4runner. They could have lowered the height a little bit on the mounts. Also, rusting within the first week inside the mount on the adjustable strap. I'd WD40 it with a Q-tip. However, not bad for the sale price. I'd recommend it if you don't mind looking like a cop. ALSO, kind of a pain in the butt, unless my skis are side by side vs together, it's near impossible to close enough to lock. There's no way with todays skis that you could fit 6 pairs in here, i'd say 3 skis.

The FatCat rack looks awesome. I love it's aerodynamic appearance and quietness on the road. Installation was not too daunting. It took me almost an hour to have it up.

The rack was easy to install and is extremely functional besides the fact that one of the two locks cannot easily be closed (regardless of how many friends are helping / how much pressure is applied to make it close). At the next loosest setting, the snowboards in the front move quite easily. This being said, they did not come off during 10 hours of driving, so I'm not that worried about it - I just wish it would lock when closed at the tightest setting..
