    I spent several minutes cleaning the window channels. You will need extra isopropal alcohol. The visors fit perfect. Rolled up the window slowly and left them up for 24 hours. They look nice.

    The install could have taken less that 15 minutes, but I'm all about the prep. I prefitted the vent visors on my 2007 Tacoma, which seemed to fit just fine. NOTE: These visors do not go behind the covers for the side view mirrors, only in the window track. I watched a video where the poster used a red 3M scuff pad to remove any wax or dirt from the weather stripping. Which seemed like a good idea. I didn't have a red one, so I borrowed a green scuff pad from the kitchen for this step. Now it was time to clean or wipe down the weather stripping with some alcohol. The two (2) alcohol preps that are included in the package, throw them away because they're worthless. Always having a bottle or two of rubbing alcohol in my garage, I was able to thoroughly wipe down the weather stripping, allowed to air dry and then a final wipe with a lintless rag before the final install. I started on the passenger side and the install was going good until I went to roll up the window. The leading edge of the ventvisor was catching the window. I lowered the window and from the inside with the door open and reached over the door so I could gently pulling the leading edge out a little bit while slowly raising the window. Success, the window closed without a problem. I repeated the same process on the drivers side. Long after 24 hours, I lowered and raised each window without any problem. Comparing them to the WeatherTech vent visors on my wife's SUV, there's very little difference (except the price). I gave it 4 stars on appearance because of the AVS logo being so large and noticeable But for the price with free shipping, you can't go wrong.
