AutoVentshade Bugflector II Bug & Stone Deflector 25941

Cheaply built, fit was not exact, part was touching the hood and had to be trimmed to fit. I would not purchase this brand again. It has great ratings, but the fit and look leave much to be desired.

While the quality and design are great, the attaching hardware that was supplied wasn't satisfactory. The "two piece screws" that came with it would not hold on my 2018 F-150. I ended up using drywall anchors that I modified to hold the center holes in the bug shield to the underside of the hood. I spoke with a friend of mine who owns a 2010 F-150 and he had the same issue with his installation, and used the same "Fix". Otherwise the product is fine and I'm happy with it and would purchase it again. Any "DIY'er" could figure out the install fix.

Was easy to install, had all the proper hardware. Looks good on the truck and doors what it was supposed to on the first trip.

Looks fantastic, quality hardware and real fasteners - no tape!

The hardware that comes with this shield is pitiful My friend and I tried for over a hour trying to get the tiny grommet and screw thru the shield and weather stripping. Finally went to the hardware store and got some proper grommets and installed it in 5 minutes.

Fit well and installed easily on a 2015 F-150.

This is an excellent addition to my truck. Mine has broken 2 times and they have taken care of it because it did its job but unfortunately it broke. That might sound strange but I am happy that there are no marks on my truck after being struck by a rock and the deflector worked. I could have had a dent or a major scratch. Great product!

This is my second one. The first broke when a big rock hit it. No damage to my truck!

Extremely difficult to install. I had to modify the connection with screws into the bottom of the hood (with a trip to the hardware store). The connectors are plastic, and are too soft for a screwdriver and are easily reamed out. Also the connectors are too short to hold and not easy to line up while holding back the rubber molding. Fully removing the hood molding would destroy the existing plastic connectors, and require a trip to the dealer to obtain replacements. I think the item is probably functional and should protect the windshield from small stones, but installation is not my idea of fun.

I placed it on my new 2016 F150 King Ranch. Fits well, looks nice. My advice on installing is that the clips on the extreme right and left side should be spread a bit depending on your hood thickness prior to starting the process- much easier that way.

Not thrilled about the hood clips needed for the end attachment.

Easy to install - good instructions. Screw holes on deflector line up perfectly with hood. Looks Great! Screw female ends were a little flimsy, I am hoping it holds well- if had to take off I am not sure a second install would hold the screw?

Looks great! It took me about 30 minutes to install on my 2015 Ford F-150. I did replace the plastic screws with stainless steel. The plastic ones did not seem like they were going to hold well. Very happy.

Very easy to install this product - only takes a few minutes to prep and apply.
