First off they don't make it clear what the best technique is for the self tapping screws. It took me numerous attempts until I finally figured it out. The drill didn't work unless you maybe had someone pushing down against the hood with pressure towards the drill. A screwdriver was the same deal. Finally I got a hammer and banged it against the screwdriver to start the screw. Then you can finish with a drill or screwdriver. Once installed, and now my hood won't close all the way. I have it lined up perfectly. It makes no sense unless they sent me one that is almost identical but I really doubt it. It looks like it fits perfect. It just blocks the final hood lock section. Gonna have to send it back and now. Oh yeah, these holes that you're supposed to line it up with do not exist on my hood. It kinda lines up with one hole but why would you even want to do that? The screws wouldn't hold if you put them into an already drilled hole. The directions are very vague and you make it seem so cut and dry, but it's not. WeatherTech should take a little extra time to write some more detailed directions with some tips or hints to make installation easier or just work the first time. Not happy at all!!
