Toyota Sienna Bug Deflectors, Wind Deflectors & Shields

I purchased and installed two of these deflectors - one last year and one yesterday (two different vehicles). I had the same trouble with each unit. Specifically, the fasteners do not function as the instructions indicate. The plastic push pins are supposed to be screwed into the underside of the hood using a phillips screwdriver. The only problem is, the "screw" function doesn't. At all. In order to get the pin inserted into the unit and firmly affixed to the underside of the hood, you have to literally force the "screw" into the fastener. I used a small plastic hammer. Once the "screw" is forced into the fastener, that seems to securely hold it. But using a phillips screwdriver to accomplish this action is a complete waste of time and effort. The wind/rain guards were very easy to install. A few people in reviews said they broke when installing. That's because they were too rough with flexing them into place. Love 'em, I have had vent shades on all vehicles for years. I didn't realize how much I liked them until I traded cars.

They're nice...took only a couple of minutes to install them on our Sienna Van.

Excellent fit and great look. After seeing other vans with lots of hood damage due to road debris this product was a must to protect our vehicle's hood.
