I was very happy with the customer service from both AAG and Iron Cross when I had some shipping issues. Much better than FedEx! As for the steps...they install very easy. Instructions aren't very good but after studying the pictures you can figure it out. The brackets install to the body with no drilling. The steps look nice on the truck, but feature a combination of mounting to sheet metal instead of the frame and underbuilt mounting brackets. So, there is quite a bit of flex in the the steps when you step on them. The third step just hangs out with no support. It flexes so bad I am afraid to use it. When i step on it the main bar flexes and twists downwards about 15 to 20 degrees (I weigh 185lbs.). I know if i use the rear step regularly it will cause the steps, which are made of sheet metal, to crack or badly distort the body of the truck. I would return these, but i dont think it would be very economical. I will probably end up making my own mounting brakets to fix the problem. Not really something I want to do after paying nearly $700 for the steps, but oh well. If you are looking for a step that is functional I would look somewhere else. I think Iron Cross is a good company, but this product needs work.

Instructions are useless. I had to figure out the installation on my own. As someone else pointed out, the bars have a lot of flex to them. With my truck ('12 Ram 2500 Long Bed), the problem is the mount brackets are very flimsy and to make it worst, some genius decided to make them attach to the cab body (sheet metal!!!) instead of the frame. Even worse was leaving the 3rd steps without any type of support from the rear of the cab to the rear wheel well. The flex on this section is way too excessive (and I only weigh 165lbs). They look good and feel good when I put my big boots on them. Even so, the mount brackets and mount design is extremely poor. Also, the inside is hollow making them feel like just a pretty shell and not "Heavy Duty" at all. For all the work I am going to have to do to make them sturdy and fit better, they are not worth the money I paid for them. If you have a '10-'12 Ram 2500 be warned, be prepared to make your own brackets, specially if you want the 3-step steps. You might have better luck if you buy the 2-step design.
