Pretty simple install and the instructions were clear enough. All the parts were there and I liked that everything was one size of bolt/nut. The matte finish makes them look gray more than black, especially on a black truck.

The drop steps were very easy to install and are very good looking and strong. The brackets were strong and fit perfectly, with little adjustment needed. They make access to my truck much easier.

Easy to install by myself, it went on easy and instructions were easy to follow. Looks good on my f-150 , thinking of getting a lift kit now! Great site to get anything you need to trick out your ride!

Quality is amazing. The steps look rugged and look great with my white truck. Some of the brackets were mislabeled but if you are handy at all it wasn't a big deal. The picture for the rear bracket is not good so I would recommend downloading instructions for a clearer view. I had to increase the size of the holes for only one of the rear brackets which caused the whole project to take longer. The steps are over engineered and could probably stand up to a tornado. What a great product!

The driver side is fast and easy 30 min. Passenger side on the other hand take 1-1/2 hours or more cause you have to drop the deftank for one bolt. Overall well worth it. These are the only steps that hug the cab so well.

Overall we are pleased with these drop steps, as they do serve the purpose to allow ease of access into the truck. They were packaged very well. In my opinion, the aesthetic and functional design of the steps could be improved if they angled out slightly at the rear where the third step for access to the truck bed exists. The truck bed for the Ram 1500 Rebel begins to flare out slightly, just behind the cab, and part of the step almost disappears at this point. Additionally, we were short two of the zinc washers. Also the "HDX" logo plague was not riveted on to the passenger side board, but is on the driver side. The only other issue was with install where some of the powder coating materials made it very difficult to thread the bolts. I recommend starting all of them before trying to hold parts up to the truck and starting them there. These are the few nit picky things that we ran into with the steps, but we are very pleased with the style and function.
