Easy install with clear instructions. A standard socket set with an extension is helpful. Don't even need a second helper. I sprayed bolts/nuts with undercoating paint to protect them, plus the gaps where the plastic caps needed to be removed.

The only issue I had was with the threads on the driver side step. It seems to me that there was paint in the threads that had to be cleaned out or the paint on the bolts was an issues. Needless to say I had to use a threader to cleanout the threads and still had issues with bolts wanting to cross thread (nightmare). Passenger side took 30 min. to complete install (laying on pavement). Driver side took an hour plus!!!

These step bars were a piece of cake to install. My 15 year old son helped me. It took longer to separate the hardware than it did to install them. They look great and are nice and tight to the body.

If you like the looks of these Westin Pro Traxx 4 inch bars (and I did), then they are a great product. Relatively easy to install (even for an old guy like me 70+ years old). The holes in the Colorado, matched up perfectly with the bars and the instructions and hardware make it a no brainer. Most importantly ***They were made in USA***

To do both sides it took my boyfriend and I about an hour or so for each. They weren't super hard to put on we just lost a part that we didn't think they sent but we found it later. They look good on my black truck minus the scrapes that came on them. The plastic piece that goes from the truck to the step bar is kinda wobbly in the wind and will move around slightly but you really don't need that part for the performance but they're still on from highway speeds.
