Toyota Prius Seat Covers

I am pleased with the overall quality of the material used - the premium leatherette feels & looks like real leather. The wear & tear of use over time will be the final judge on how long lasting & durable the material is (it does come with a 2 year factory warranty). The one big issue I have with my front & rear seat covers is that when the cutouts were sewn by CoverKing for the Child Car Seat Anchor Points on the back side of the rear seat. The cutouts are square not rectangular as the actual anchor points are shaped. In addition, the cutouts for the anchor points do NOT line up exactly with the anchor points. So when you’re looking at back side of the rear seat loading items into the rear hatchback area, you see the misshaped and misplaced cutouts which looks very unprofessional. Fortunately, these cutouts are not visible when the hatch back is not open and the cargo cover is put in place. This review is for a Prius 2010. Product does not exactly fit. The extra padding ended up causing friction in areas where there used to be space (ie, when sliding the seat forward or adjusting the seat, movement is no longer as fluid due to friction). The airbag compartments are not shown on the pic, but really is just an open gap. Had I realized this, I probably wouldn't have bought the product.

First the front seats were not labeled driver or passenger. There was no opening for the side air bags. When I called Coverking they said the covers would come apart if the airbags deployed. Don't know if I believe that. The back seat was a nightmare. First the head rest covers were too large. The sent me the same size as the front seats. The back seat headrests sre smaller. There were no openings on the seat cover or back cover for the metal clasps that hold the seat in place. Since there were no openings for the clasps, it was impossible to get the covers to fit properly. On both the front seats and back seat the openings for the headrests were not in the the place they needed to be for the headrests to be installed. I am very disappointed with the product and if it were not such a headache to remove them and send them back I would not hesitate to ask for a complete refund. Seat covers were substantial in thickness and made exactly to car seat specs! Neoprene has no "slide" to it, so if you want to have that, these may not be for you-maybe leatherette. They weren't too hard to install...once we figured out how to do it, as no directions came with the order. You don't have to take the back seat off as others have said. Some models have YouTube videos to show how and that may give some direction.
