Position of the clamps to hold the side rails in place is the most critical and difficult part of the assembly. It took 2 attempts to get them right. Otherwise I’m very happy with the Trident tonneau cover. It looks great.

This is a preliminary review since the I'm only about a week into owning the cover. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. On unboxed it on top the truck bed, unfolded it into position and had it lock in place in less than 10 minutes. It looks great! I doesn't seal perfectly along the forward edge because that rail on the pick-up bed is a little lower than the side rails so I'm curious to see how well it keep water out. The quality seems very good. I'm looking forward to using this for a long time.

A lot of internet time was burned up searching for a tonneau cover to replace the vinyl 'covered wagon look' This one is the best pick for me. Installation was straight forward (FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS) and not difficult. Would have been easier with an extra set of hands. Fit, finish and materials appear to be well designed and executed. The BAKBOX is better described as a deep tray and will be very handy for my present needs but I wouldn't expect it to carry much weight. The fold up feature is unique and useful but there is no method included to keep it folded. Maybe another strip of hook and loop. It is definitely a weak link begging for improvement. I had seen the Tonneau at the local Truck Custom Shop, so I knew what I was getting. And it is everything I expected. With free shipping the cost was almost $150 cheaper that the Truck shop and almost as fast with the delivery. The only down side I saw was with the free tailgate seal, the tracking was confusing but it soon showed on its own with no problems. An Outstanding experience in all, it looks great on my 2012 Colorado Crew.
