Everything went as planned, unfortunately, between having all tools ready and doing install by myself it took me a little longer.

This is a high quality, well made hitch, with excellent quality hardware included. Fit was perfect. Still waiting for the plow to arrive, but I am certain this hitch will do the job as intended. Thanks, Curt, for a great product.

Pretty Easy to install once you get over the fear of drilling two holes in your frame. I found using a tiered multi-bit from Harbor Freight made the drilling process really easy. I got a bit wide enough to widen the (existing) bottom frame holes then used the same bit to drill the 2 bolt holes. Easy Peazee bada boom bada bing. I did mine on the ground and found clearance to be no problem if you turn your front wheels right or left depending on which side you're working on. It helps to have a second person to help lift the receiver into place. The wire fishing of bolts was genius and worked well. This one took about 45min to install. Knowing what I now know, if I had to do another it would go much faster. The Hitch Receiver seems pretty sturdy. I'm using mine for a plow on a stock (no lift) 2004 Jeep (TJ) Wrangler. The completed hitch height was 13" which is the high end of what my Meyers Snow Plow recommends. I'll likely have to get a 2" lowering adapter. My CURT hitch had some missing paint where it had been rubbed off in shipping. It's worth hitting those spots with some paint to avoid rust which seems to plague all Jeep Wranglers. I docked one star for having to re-paint part of the hitch.

This was the correct front hitch for the Meyer Home Plow. The hitch originally sent was incorrect, per Curt.

This is the 4th Curt hitch receiver I've installed in the last year. This one took much longer than the others, because it is a front mounted receiver for a Jeep Wrangler. It will be used for a snowplow. The problem was not with the product, but with my vehicle, which is modified with a lift kit and a front mounted Warn winch. These modifications required some modification of the install procedure, but once the job was completed, I am completely satisfied with the install. I would recommend Curt hitch receivers to anyone looking for a quality product, that normally installs with no difficulty.
