Installed on 2024 Honda CR-V Sport-L (hybrid). The hitch fit perfectly. The cut in the upper fascia needed to be about a quarter of an inch wider than the 3" stipulated for the receiver tube and welding to clear. The cut in the under-body panel only needed to be the same width as the fascia cut, instead of the 4.625 inches stipulated in the installation instructions. I can't comment on 'performance' as the hitch was just installed - though this form requires a rating before submission.

Bolted right up to our 2023 CRV hybrid sport. Requires some trimming which I went extra slow with… needed to make the cut out wider than the directions said. Very tight clearance to the spare tire well, but it fit. You will have to drop the exhaust down to access 1 side. Looks great on the car.

Two facts: 1. Curt makes a great product. 2. Curt includes pretty lousy installation instructions. I've installed Curt hitches in prior vehicles. This one was for our 2022 Honda CR-V. The best instructions are in the video posted at etrailer.com. That guy gives you the correct fastener sizes and fastener count and gives you tips on how to make things as easy as possible. I paused several times during my installation to watch the video on my laptop again. Sooo worth it.... The bolts and everything else line up very easily. I wish I had a lift; doing this job on my back on my driveway doubled the installation time. The fishwires made the fasteners easy to locate and to use. Loosening the muffler hangers was no fun nor was lifting the hitch up to its correct location--that felt a little like doing a bench-press at the gym. But we now have a car that can accept our bike rack and that was the point of the exercise--so we're good now.

My wonderful son installed this hitch for me. We watched a YouTube video for easy instructions and great methodology. The next time we install the same hitch on the same type vehicle it would probably take us about 45 minutes. Great quality and price and all bolts and parts were in the package.

I am not saying anything bad about the quality of the Curt hitch but I am not happy. There was nothing on the details that said you have to cut into the bumper to get this to fit. I am returning it and now I have to pay a 15% restock fee and shipping which I am not happy about. I really think it should be stated somewhere that you have to cut into the bumper. Not everyone would be happy about that.

This is pretty straightforward, but it's a well-made hitch mount with accurate and easy-to-understand instructions as well as all of the hardware required for installation. I wish I could say I installed it myself, but when I realized I'd need to drop the exhaust in order to access the mounting points, I deferred to my mechanic with a lift and the requisite tools to do the job easily (and even he said it was a PITA to install). Regardless, that's Honda's fault for cramming everything in there so tightly; the hitch itself is well made, has a very thorough protective coating, and was priced right. Would buy again.
