Mazda CX-9 Trailer Hitches & Towing

Everything arrived quickly and in good order. There were previous posts that the finish would rub off or would flake off, but Curt apparently has solved that problem with a new painted semi-gloss finish. It looks great and cant imagine that the finish will be tarnished. The pre-drilled holes didn't line up exactly but with a little patience I was able to install with my 17 year old son. It definitely helps to have an extra hand underneath to line everything up. My 19 year old son installed most of the electrical himself and I just helped him with the connection to the battery. A little hard to write a review. I haven't installed it yet. But It showed up on time. Looks Great. All parts where there. I think it will install easy on my SUV. Going to install it this weekend. I gave it all four stars, only because I don't think anything is a five star...

Unit fit nicely and installed easy but I'm very disappointed with both the powder coating and customer service response to it. Hitch arrive where the powder coating had peeled off in several spots so I called Auto Accessories to see if I could get some touch up paint to slow rust formation. Customer service did offer to replace but rather than mailing back (large piece) I asked if anything could be done along lines of touch up current one. CS stated that they had to pass this on to the warranty department then took down all of my information that they will email back to discuss. Never heard back so I'm stuck with a new unit that both looks used and has different colored paint on it. I have seen powder coating that is so brittle as on my hitch nor have seen it chip so much and easily. It looks more like paint but I'll trust them. Disappointed with product quality and customer service provided to me.

Easy ordering process, excellent delivery time, good install instructions... everything was a snap!

Everything was great. It arrived the next day in a good box. Simple to install, better with 2 people, but I did it myself. Just wish it came with a cover.
