Like a gate for your rear window, a headache rack puts up a final line of defense to prevent unfortunate accidents from ruining your truck cab. Heavy-duty Carbon Steel tubes measuring 2" x 1" run the span of your back window. Fully louvered for full rearview visibility, the Aries Headache Rack will also work with all bed-spanning toolboxes. Depending on the make and model of your truck, some drilling may be required.

This Aries part 111000 does is not a great match for the 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 6"7" bed . The holes nearest the window have no way to drill into the bed rail and attach a nut to the bolt. You have to move the whole rack back 1/2-1" to get it centered in the stud hole and then buy from BackRack the additional installation kit for $129.00 so you can put the L-bolt in the stud hole and tie into the bed. There is another option but I was not given an option to by the expandable kit that expands inside the stud hole. That option was not a great design.

It was a great rack and very easy to install. FedEx delivered it and the box was destroyed and paint was missing off the bed pieces.

Rack looks great on my 10 Dodge. Bought to mount lights. The driver side mounting bracket was welded on leaned in, had to bend it out to mount the rack to it, otherwise would have been 5 stars all the way!

It went on easily. Looks good. I'm having trouble keeping the headache rack from leaning forward, the bolts have to be very tight.

I have yet to install this on my truck but looking at it appears to be a well made product. I do not anticipate any issues installing it. I can't wait to see how this looks and works on my Chevy.

This rack is remarkable. It is stylish, yet durable. I like the fact that safety was another factor in ordering this rack. I do not have to worry about cargo flying through the rear window. This rack is worth every penny.

Great rack but had to make spacers to facilitate mounting on truck. Plan to have angle iron pieces welded in place of spacers. Rack was about 3" too narrow for truck bed.

Looks cool and works but it didn't fit my truck. I had to modify it. They need to make the racks vehicle specific.

Bracket to top rail does not work on my truck. The front holes in the bracket landed over the stack pocket, and could not bolt it there. Had to drill new holes towards the back of bracket and now the whole rack bounces when I hit a bump in the road.

This rack looks awesome on my F150! But I didn't know I had to screw the metal slabs into the truck. So I had someone weld two metal poles on each end of the rack so all I needed to do was slide the rack into the pre-existing holes. If you screw it in the rack, it will rock back and forth, which will destroy your truck because of its weight. I didn't want to screw it in because it has to be metal to metal and I didn't want to remove my plastic covers from my truck.
