  • There will always be the guys that tell you if you want a bed liner for your pickup, a spray-in liner is the only way to go. But there are a few problems with that way of thinking. They’re expensive – not only to buy but to have professionally installed – and once they’re in, they’re not going anywhere. That’s why BedRug came up with the BedTred Ultra Bed Liner – it feels and performs just like your pricey spray-on liners, but it installs (and uninstalls) easily and at a fraction of the cost.

Quarter inch thick flexible thermoplastic completely surrounds the closed-cell foam core, resulting in a waterproof and 100% UV-resistant truck bed liner. This extra-thick and cushiony material provides a buffer against dings and dents - not only on your truck bed, but on the cargo you’re hauling as well. A non-skid surface will keep your gear in place even when you hit the brakes harder than you had planned. Best of all, your soft and cushy BedRug BedTred Ultra Bed Liner is incredibly easy on the knees.

Installation couldn’t be easier – 5 custom fitting pieces seamlessly fit together and tightly fasten in place with simple hook and loop fasteners. That means no tools, no drilling, and no permanent damage. Plus, you’ll retain all access to your factory tie downs. Made in the USA and backed by a Lifetime Warranty.

In three simple words, what a pain! My biggest mistake is lining up the panels individually and marking a few cut outs, then putting it together. This should have made it much easier. In short, it made it horrible. Once assembled, nothing lines up the same at all. Even the sides don't line up under the top rail, I had to slice off several areas after putting it in. If you use a 5th wheel, good luck. I haven't worked that out yet. Looks like I'll have to cut out a huge square section and leave it open when towing. Good solid surface, very well padded, looks great. Once I put a bed cover on, the rails cover the top of the sides I had to cut off. Just wish they had a way to show where to make the cut outs for OEM lights, switches and other accessories in the bed.

The Bed Tred Ultra looks very good installed, and I like the finish and texture. I had never wanted a bed rug because I could not imagine ever getting all the dirt out if I ever had a load of topsoil or sand in the bed. (shoveling might be OK, but cleaning out of a carpet finish could be a nightmare.) This finish is better. It has a non permeable surface, but the edges where it is zipped together allow it to drain quickly of water when hosing it out. It is much better on the knees than the bed by itself. I was not careful enough cutting the holes for the LED lights and ended up with one spot with a bigger hole. By backing up with Velcro and using some of the waste from the hole I repaired it, and it is not noticeable now. I called Bedrug for more Velcro so I could properly install the cover around the LED cutouts, and they responded quickly and sent me more at no charge! Here are the only things I can think to improve it: The sections zip together with heavy duty zippers. I barely had enough strength to zip it over the curved sections of the wheel wells, (maybe there is a trick I don't know). I used a vice grip to hold the zipper pull and had to use everything I had to zip past the wheel wells. I do know the zippers are strong! Second, for those of us that will be keeping it covered with a tonneau, a lighter color option would be nice so it is easier to see in the far reaches in the dark bed toward the cab. (the color is a very dark gray.) Overall, it is very nice and pretty easy for a DIYer to install. Most of my time for installation were for locating screws and carefully cutting for factory tiedowns, and boxlink tie downs and cutting around the LED lights in the bed. I also carefully marked the position of the LED light switch in the bed with a White sharpy. I like it a lot! Things tend to stay where I put them since the finish is soft and pebbly. (my last truck had a hard bedliner that was slick enough that everything ended up at the cab. If you slide very heavy objects you may have trouble getting them to slide.

Has to be cut where it tucks under trim but otherwise flawless and autoaccessoriesgarage is awesome.

Could not install the front corner tie-downs because the bolts would have to go through the zippers.

As always the bedrug products are of very good quality. The fit was a perfect match and was easy to install. The install could have taken less time but adding the my time to wash and dry the bed of the truck and taking my time added a little extra time to the install. Finished product looks great!

Good product, in theory. Installation is time consuming especially the zippering part. I found that to be difficult. After a few hours of zippering, velcroing, and removing and replacing tie down hooks I was happy to be done. Almost. The tailgate piece does not fit properly. The bedliner indents do not match the tailgate indents. I like the softness and look of the liner but there is a design flaw. To their credit they offered a refund or exchange but removing this thing is a major inconvenience which also necessitates removal of my tonneau cover.

Over all the liner looks pretty good. The corners by the cab don't close the gap up by the cab. It seems like it should have been a little bigger rather than shorter. Have some patients when installing also, also zipping together.
