Good product, easy to install, works perfect. Now my wife can easily open the tailgate.

The Dee Zee Tailgate assist is a straight forward product and does what it's supposed to. The installation was quick and easy and now I don't have to worry about my kids dropping my tailgate!

Very easy to install easy to read instructions all necessary parts included less then 40min to install counting reading instructions getting ready to install and using the tail gate great product.

This was very easy to install and it works perfectly. This was a great addition to my truck.

First thing I buy (along with a bed cover) anytime I buy a new pickup, which turns it into something much more useful for daily driving. Easy to install and it makes opening your tailgate a one-handed operation.

Without a doubt one of the best accessories I have ever purchased. After reading the directions it only took 10 minutes to install. Thanks for a great product.

This is awesome! Seriously no more tailgate slamming down or worrying about damaging something. Going to be giving these out as Christmas presents.

Product works but it would help if the hardware that mounts on tailgate was a little more robust. After a week I already had to adjust the part that mounts on the tailgate. Other than that it was easy to install in about 10 minutes.

It's the best thing ever...I'm going to purchase one for my dad. From opening the package to completed installation...less than 30 minutes!

Had a problem with a piece of hardware. Called the company and they sent out replacement parts that worked great! Excellent customer service and the lift assist works great!

Easy install on 2014 FORD F150 XLT Crewcab. Make sure you turn the nut on the gizmo that installs the tail gate point. 3/4 inch from washer to alan bolt head, then use a wrench to turn the nut not the alan bolt. Other than that, the install was easy. Took 30 minutes, that includes getting tools out and putting them away.

Very easy install once I called Dee Zee. They told me they were having trouble with the nutset working properly & to spray it with WD40. Once I did that, everything went flawless!

i am very pleased with the tailgate assist. it was everything you said it would be. very easy to install, just read the instructions before starting installation.

One of the most worthwhile accessories you can add. $30 and 20 minute installation, it's hard to believe all auto manufactures don't install it on new trucks.

Easy straight forword installation.. plenty of Youtube videos to view before you dive into the install. Would do it again.

The product works very well, however, I had to take it to a mechanic to have it installed as the tools included were not sufficient enough.

Bought DEE ZEE TAILGATE ASSIST. Instructions aren't that great. So be careful on the install. Works well, keeps tailgate from slamming down. Would recommend.

Easy install, great customer service. Kind of chewed up the insulation cover on the tailgate cable. Other than that I would have rated a 5 star. Very nice to open!

Great accessory for the money. Quick and easy to install. The directions were easy to follow and use. It works right out of the box. No adjustments needed to work properly.
