Cool product, but the assist strut doesn't seem to fit my 2000 Ford F250 Superduty. It rubs significantly on the tailgate, so much so that it is pressed off lower connection ball. Later productions (after 7/15) work.

Great product and great service. The tailgate assist works as advertised. I had to modify the installation instructions slightly for my 2015 F350, but it was not much of an issue. In my case, I had to remove and reinstall the tail light, as per the instructions, which added some time to the installation . Without that it would have taken 10 minutes.
