    I work in a metal shop for a living and have wanted to make my own tailgate using some old expanded drop and round tubing for some time. After estimating the time and cost it was more practical to buy a go industries tailgate. I honestly don't think I could have done a better job with the tolerances and fit, which are superb. I could have made prettier looking welds, but they'll hold which is all that really matters. With a simple design this is a well made tailgate at a fair price.

    The top right corner is bent and it is missing one bolt and nut for the cable to hook on to. I'm not happy with that.
